Members are delighted to find the DAR Women in American History Award in prominent display recognizing Annie Malone. It was presented by Olde Towne Fenton Chapter, NSDAR, members in February 2019, to Linda Nance, President of the Annie Malone Historical Society. The Field House display honored the life of this African American entrepreneur. Annie Malone gave back to St. Louis through the establishment of Poro College and the Annie Malone Children’s Home.
